Mail Archive features: fetch, store, find
Everything Mail Archive does, on one page. No marketing fog: if a feature is Pro or Business only, it says so.
Enter the account, the app finds the rest
Email address, display name, password. “Auto-detect” works out server and port, “Test connection” checks it before anything is saved.
- Gmail, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, your own servers
- IMAP or POP3, SSL/TLS preset
- Pick folders individually after connecting

One search box for every account
Search runs on a local full-text index. Results show date and an attachment marker and are sorted by relevance.
- Sender, recipient, subject, body, attachment names
- All accounts at once or one at a time
- Works without an internet connection

The archive reads like a mailbox
Choose account and folder, scan the list, open a message. Except that nothing disappears here when something happens at your provider.
- Account and folder view as you know it
- Date, sender, subject at a glance
- Open attachments straight from the message

Common questions
Technical questions about accounts, storage and licensing.
Do I need an account with you?
No. There is no login and no registration. The app connects directly to your email provider. Only the Windows license key is checked once against our server when you activate it.
Where are my archived emails stored?
In an archive on your computer or on a drive you choose during setup. You can include the folder in your normal backup.
Which email accounts can I archive?
Any account reachable via IMAP or POP3: Gmail, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, your own mail servers and more. The app usually detects the server settings automatically.
Do the emails stay with my provider?
Yes. Mail Archive only reads. If you explicitly switch it on, the app can mark archived messages as deleted on the server. By default it doesn't.
What happens to attachments?
Attachments can be stored as separate files in the archive folder and opened directly from the app. Search finds them by file name.
Is there a trial?
The free version is the trial: one account, 20 emails, no time limit. If the connection and folders work for you, upgrade to Pro or Business.
Is this a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time €14.99, Business a one-time €129.99. No monthly fees.
Can I move the archive to a new computer?
Yes. The storage location is yours to choose, for example an external drive. A Windows license key can be activated up to 3 times.
Does Mail Archive help with retention obligations?
It makes sure business emails are complete and searchable on your side, not only at your provider. Which retention periods apply to you is explained in our guide How long do you need to keep emails?
Try it with your own mailbox
Free, no account with us, no time limit. One account and 20 emails are enough to see whether it fits.
